Bradley Lord is Deputy Team Principal of the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team. Bradley leads the communications function, the team’s pioneering sustainability activities and its young driver development programme, along with working closely with Team Principal & CEO Toto Wolff and the wider executive team.
Bradley’s love of all things four-wheeled began at an early age. His father worked for American auto giant General Motors in Detroit, sparking a passion for cars and motorsport.
He joined the Benetton F1 Team as a press office intern in 2001 while studying at university. Since then, Bradley has filled a variety of communications roles and worked as a journalist for the specialist motorsport media.
He then joined Mercedes in 2011, leading motorsport communications for Mercedes-Benz across all works motorsport series, initially in Stuttgart, Germany and then from F1 team HQ in Brackley, UK.
His role has grown organically over time to encompass a wider range of activities and has been instrumental in shaping the team’s culture, communications, and wider strategic cohesion.
